The meals are fresh and amazing, they have a huge variety of gluten free options for my celiac needs!! You can search a huge variety of meals for all different sensitivity or lifestyles: allergies (nut soy, dairy, egg) and by vegan, vegetarian, low calorie, protein, etc. and to top it off, the customer service is top notch!!

I have been using Cook Unity for a couple months now since I have been having a hard time figuring out what to eat and make. I feel like with the discounts they offer its been less expensive for me weekly to purchase the meals than groceries have been costing. I've been subscribed to CookUnity for about 8 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. There is a big diversity in meals and of the competitors I've tried the quality and taste is significantly better while maintaining that diversity. I have had a few cases where I get the wrong meal but they are extremely quick to remedy the situation with appropriate solutions. I recommend you give them a shot!

Full disclosure, I haven't received my meals yet, so I cant speak to the taste, etc. However, the first of the year is a very busy time, especially with fitness related companies. I was concerned because my order hadn't shipped and it appeared the promo code was incorrect. (There were several promos going on). The company addressed it right away, got my order shipped, apologized for the delay and corrected my promo code all in the same day. I was impressed. The menu options look amazing! It appears that one could eat something different every evening and never repeat a meal for a year! And the nutrition and calorie information is so easy to find and search for exactly what you need to meet your dietary goals. The app works great! I'm so excited to try the meals and improve my health, finally!

I have tried a lot of food services. Cook Unity stands apart from the rest of the competition. I love the insulated black coolers and love the design of the individual containers the meals have to keep them fresh. The film over the top of the meal is firm but easy to come peel off after heating up. The meals look very appetizing and the portions satisfying. My favorite five star Michelin meal is lobster risotto. It was as good as any upper scale restaurant could serve. My husband and I are seniors and have health issues. These meals are a lifesave!

The fact that I've been Yelping for so long about places like fast food joints should hint that I am not exactly a good cook... or that I even cook at all. While plenty of Yelpers enjoy their time in the kitchen mine is usually spent lookin off into galaxies, slack jawed, inside of the refrigerator wondering why the food inside of it isn't on my plate yet... So even though I don't enjoy cooking and hardly ever do, I still have the bold face audacity to grow tired of takeout meals and wish for my own personal chef... one they won't get upset about my constant nitpicking... along came cookunity. I heard about them from this guy who let's just say is very easy on the eyes... I mean if the food was yummy and kept him looking healthy it was worth a try right?!? Plus how could he say no to me pretend cooking a meal from a service he already liked? I signed up and was shocked at the HUGE selection. So of course I had to go for the 16 meal plan. Mind you it's not just for me... I am shameless and order extra so that I can "cook" for the special person in my life. I even go so far as to "prepare a lunch" which is just a cookunity box with a little note from me to personalize it... It's the thought that counts! Plus the food is better than I'll ever make...Don't you judge me! There are so many interesting dishes! They even have protein only plates that have two servings of protein. This is great because I don't usually eat an entire meal in one sitting and can often halve one of my vegetarian dishes and then pack up the other half with a piece of protein for another meal. Frugal! The cost seems like a lot if you cook, especially if you cook intelligently. But like I said, I don't do any of that. I usually spend over the cost for lunch and for sure for dinner, so the cost breakdown is pretty good. Especially because these meals are healthier than what I usually get... if I get a mixed bag salad and pair it with my cookunity dish I am eating well! It is not a calorie cutting service though... I also don't trust the calorie counts listed. Some seem wayyyyyyyy off. So if you are strict on that kind of thing then this might not be for you. Another downside is you'll get some meals you truly don't like. But I feel like the benefits outweigh the drawbacks for me personally. So I will do cookunity on an off as it suits me.

Their food selection is huge and the taste is even better. I love how they have food for different style lifestyles and diets.
